New to site but want to try and chronicle my build. Always wanted a 67-72 4 wheel drive or blazer. Found a really nice truck, but it's 2 wheel drive. Not new to serious auto/truck mods, so I'm gonna make it happen as time allows. The truck is a 71 GMC with almost no rust. 85k original miles.
Can someone point me to a reference that shows all possible 1972 Blazer 4 wheel drive rear end tire bolt patterns? Did they make these 72 4x4 blazers in more than just the half ton? Thanks, Dave
i have wanted a two wheel drive blazer for sometime now. i know where one is at, but i want a really low stance to the ground, i can't make up my mind if it's a good idea to c notch (hack up) a pefectly good (rare) 2wd or build a one from a 4x4. any thoughts?
Can someone tell me how wide the blazers are from outside to outside stock tires. I wanted to see what the minimum width between tandem axle wheel well trailer I could use without rubbing.
I have a 98 S10 4x4I've always wondered why the tow hooks are in front. If I'm pulling someone out of a mudpit, am I supposed to pull them out in reverse?Where would I hook a chain/ rope if I wanted to tow by pulling from the rear of the vehicle?Also, is there a trick to get it "unstuck"...
Why is this y pipe different than mine? Mine has a built on cat. I wanted to get a glass pack that looks like it would just bolt up to that end in the picture. So my question is will that y pipe fit my two door two wheel drive blazer so I can use with the glass pack muffler
