Toyota Tacoma build - need amp
New build for my 2008 Tacoma double cab. I use my truck as a truck for work. The compartments under & behind the rear seats are always used. I don't plan on installing subwoofer behind the rear seats. That being said here's what I have now.
HU: Alpine CDA-9887 with Imprint KTX-100EQ tuned to factory speakers
I recently attained Infinity REF-9620CX, 3 ohms, 125w rms, 6x9 components for the front doors. I plan to sound deaden the front doors. Zero plans on buying new speakers for the rear doors. Should I just ditch the rear speakers all together, since with an aftermarket amp, the factory rear speaker will fry.
I researching for a small foot print amp to fit under the front seat. My budget for an amp is $250. Should I get a 4ch amp bridged to run the fronts components or a 2ch amp. I've been out of the car audio scene for a while. Recommendations please?
