Timing Belt Replacement- DIY

4th Generation (2003-2009) - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums - www.toyotanation.com
I have an 2004 4Runner with 116K miles on it. It has never had the timing belt changed and its something I've got to get replaced. I normally do the recommended maintenance myself (brakes, oil & filter, diffs & transfercase oil, spark plugs, etc...) I've never replaced a timing belt before, but I'm going to figure it out and do it myself. I have the Haynes manual and I've started researching online.

I plan on getting the timing belt kit that comes with timing belt, water pump, pulleys, etc... Also, I am going to make sure I have the special tool needed to hold the pulley in place while removing the bolt.

Has anybody found a good DIY write-up on this for an 04 with V8 or applicable model? I found a lot of tundra timing belt replacement videos on youtube but I can't track down one for my model.

I searched this forum, but only found discussions on paying for replacement. Thanks in advanced.
