Ssangyong Chairman W Summit - $100k-plus luxury limousine
As Hyundai does with the Equus, Ssangyong makes a LWB version of its Chairman W flagship sedan, with a wheelbase of 128". A new variant has debuted, the Chairman W Summit, an even more lavish version of the LWB limousine:
Powered by the 5.0-litre V8, the Summit comes in at W114,640,000, which on exchange rates at hand is just under US$103,000. Consider that the base 3.2-litre CW600 Luxury comes in at W56,980,000 (approx. US$52,000) and the standard-wheelbase 5.0-litre V8 VVIP sedan comes in at W94,360,000 (just under US$85,000). The older series Chairman H ranges from W35,870,000 (approx US$32,000) for a base 2.8 500S Luxury to W47,730,000 (approx. US$43,000) for the flagship 3.2 600S VIP. Thus Ssangyong's two luxury sedan ranges spans between $30K and $100k!
Also launched are the "Bow" version of the standard-wheelbase Chairman W sedan, with white leather interiors.
