Recoding F36

I need to completely recode my 2016 435xi GC as the dealer installed new software when I had a battery problem. New software was required for the check control messages stored and the battery had to be replaced as it wasn't holding a charge at an acceptable level. So, of course all my coding has been wiped clean. I am waiting for the E-sys Launcher Pro from TM.

Unwarranted wake ups were also detected by an unknown control unit?

The only hardware change I have made in the car was to install a light switch (18 months ago) with a rear fog light button and activate that feature with coding. Worked fine. However during service the master tech noted: "Fault code set for wrong light operating unit variant installed". The actual fault code was not noted. I assume that the different light switch variant was not responsible for the unwarranted wake ups?

I believe that I need to code a change to recognize the different light switch variant and subsequently wipe the fault code that has been set.

Advice on how to do this will be much appreciated.
