Newbie with a BIG problem - Engine Warning Light & Limp Mode

My Ssangyong Korando is 18 months old and has just over 30 000km on the clock. In Aug 2013 it went into "limp mode" the first time. The sensor pedal was replaced and in Jan 2014 it started happening again. In 2014 my vehicle has been in for repairs four times for this and still the problem is not solved. I am unable to drive the vehicle and Mahindra does not know what the problem is. I have been threatened with legal steps for some reason unknown to me. Mahindra is saying my vehicle purchased from Imperial is a grey import and is not made for the South African market. My vehicle does not drive faster than 20km/h when the engine warning light comes on and goes into limp mode. This is extremely dangerous and therefor, I cannot drive my vehicle, leaving me stranded and unable to do my work. Mahindra also refuses to provide me with a vehicle while they try to sort out my problem.
I am looking for persons that have experienced this same problem as I feel that there is power in numbers and perhaps if we stand up together against them, we can get some action. If you have ANY Advice or know of someone in a similar situation, please let me know. Thanx. Read responses in carforums.co.za
