Factory 3 point belts with fixed back seat

Autocrossing & Roadracing - forums.corvetteforum.com
I just ordered a pair of Sparco Grid II seats for my 1999 FRC

I'd like to ideally keep the factory belts. I have also purchased "low down" mounts with a belt attachment point, and will use Sparco side mounts to actually mount the seat.

I can find all sorts of other examples using a 3 point belt and fixed seat from the factory (NSX, GT3 etc.) and then again of examples where people have added fixed seats and retained the factory belts.

I have not however, been able to find an example of a Corvette doing this (C5 preferably).

Any one have some help or ideas here?

Porsche

S2000

The s2000 had something I'm thinking may be necessary, or is at least interesting - a belt extender to allow easier pass-through
