Chrysler looking to Fiat

Chrysler - Car Forum - Online Community for Car Fanatics - www.carsforums.com
Chrysler are eyeing a tie up with FIAT to help it through this financial crisis. A tie-up with Fiat will provide Chrysler with small Fiat cars that it could sell as Chrysler cars in the U.S. market, which would save Chrysler years of development as it does not produce small cars! Fiat would get 35% stake in Chrysler and access to production capacity and distribution networks in the U.S.

Fiat owns Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Iveco so they may be looking to bring these makes to the U.S.
