1990 toyota pickup 3VZ-E efi fuse parasitic draw
Long and short of it is when the 15 amp efi fuse is pulled the parasitic draw goes away. When I pulled out the Ecu and unplugged it... the amp draw also went away.
*The amp draw starts at about 1.8 amps the second the meter is hooked up then slowly drops to about 650 milliamps draw.
*I've unplugged all the relays and most things that seem linked to the efi and checked for the draw to drop, one at a time, nothing changed the draw.
*I checked the ignition tumbler, nothing.
*I unplugged the alternator because I heard something about bad diodes and nothing changed the draw.
*I'm stumped! Anyone have any experience with this type of parasitic draw?
