BMW - Tan Gunk on Dipstick?

X5 E53 (1999 - 2006) - Bimmerfest - BMW Forums - www.bimmerfest.com
So I checked our oil level, even though I changed it about a month ago, and suddenly I'm seeing that tan/yellow gunk on the tip of the dipstick I thought this only, mainly, occurred driving short trips in freezing temps, not true? It has not really been freezing here at all yet, except between 2am-6am when we are not driving.

Any advice? Someone said somewhere to change the oil often, another said to drive around in a lower gear, etc...

What can I expect next?

Thanks for any help you can lend.
