BMW - Getting things straight before I flash my ECUs

I have 2014 M235i (built in late June). I have E-Sys 3.27.1 with the appropriate launcher and psdzdata 62.5. I followed the guides here and successfully coded a number of little things. Now I have the full version of psdzdata (thanks Shawn). It's the same version as the lite I used for coding. I will be retrofitting cruise control soon. I don't see any need to upgrade to NBT atm.

Do I need a newer version of E-Sys for flashing or will 3.27.1 work fine?

I read that flashing all ECUs is actually a bad idea. I guess it's more of a risk vs reward, or are there other reasons for not doing a full update? If I do a full update, will E-Sys workout the order of dependencies (it that even matters with a full update)?

If not all, which ECUs should I go for?

I followed the guide up until the actual flash so I know what the steps are. These are my ECUs:

Is that normal? I'm surprised CMB_MEDIA is missing.

Now the controversial part. I do not own a 70a charger. I won't be getting one either. All I have is a simple 3.8a charger. I know it's a risk so I want to know if there are ways of mitigating it without spending money on gear I won't use ever again. I'm going to charge the battery overnight before the flash. If that's not enough I have an old (but working) 60ah battery that I could hook up with jump leads. If that's not going to be much good, I can hook it up to another car and let it run for the flash.

The last question is about the ignition. My car is from the verge of the 20min auto shut off change. Should I cycle the ignition before the SVT calculation and the writing? Is there an easy test to check if that's going to be an issue? When I was coding it first time, I think it took over 20 minutes all together and the ignition stayed on even without parking lights.

My current/shipment I-Step is F020-14-03-503, target would be F020-17-07-507 so a bit over 3 years worth of updates. Seems like it's worth the risk.
