Switching tunes dynamically?

C5 Scan and Tune - forums.corvetteforum.com
I'm considering having a local exhaust shop install cutouts on my C5. For those not familiar, it means a button in my interior that, when pressed, allows the exhaust to exist shortly after my collector, bypassing all the muffled exhaust piping that comes after. Another button push and I'm back to stock exhaust.

However, I would want to tune for a wide open exhaust like that. Then again, I'd want to keep my stock tune. I guess in a perfect world, the same button that would open the exhaust would also swap the tune :p I assume that's completely impossible.

I'm wondering, how are other C5 owners with cutouts handling their tuning? Do you switch your tune manually with your laptop and OBDII cable each time you want to change your exhaust?? Is there a better way? Thoughts???
