70 LT-1 Muncie Question

C3 General - forums.corvetteforum.com
Hi, I'm new. Glad for this forum. And hope I'm in the right forum area to ask...

Just acquired a stock '70 LT-1 993 Bronze coupe. It's a June 15, 1970 build. Dealer code was out of Birmingham Alabama. It's a nice high-line driver. Thrilling to drive! I'm rolling all the numbers - and everything looks "close to" correct - except carb, alt & replacement LOF windshield. I'm working on getting the couple of correct assemblies - all in time. I question the trans. In reading, I see threads stating that ALL LT-1s came with M21. I think I have the M20 wide-ratio. The case markings show: POE05A. Not sure if the date code jives - and if am I correct that I have the M-20 - and does this mean this is not the original Muncie 4-spd?

(By the way, if it is the M20 - I do like it!)

Thanks in advance for sharing the love and expertise.
